Templul Câinelui
Temple of the Dog a fost o trupă rock americană care s-a format în 1990 de Chris Cornell de la Soundgarden. El a înființat trupa ca un tribut adus prietenului său, Andrew Wood. Wood a murit pe 19 martie 1990 din cauza unei supradoze de heroină, în ziua în care Cornell s-a întors dintr-un turneu.
Înainte de a muri, Andrew a fost solistul trupei Malfunkshun și al trupei Mother Love Bone.
Din trupă au făcut parte Stone Gossard la chitară ritmică, Jeff Ament la chitară bas (ambii foști membri ai trupei Mother Love Bone), Mike McCready la chitară solo, Matt Cameron la tobe și Eddie Vedder, care a asigurat backing vocals.
Trupa a lansat un singur album, care s-a numit tot Temple of the Dog. Albumul a fost lansat în 1991 și a avut două piese de succes, "Say Hello 2 Heaven" și "Hunger Strike". Cornell a cântat la "Say Hello 2 Heaven", iar Vedder a cântat la "Hunger Strike".
